Plastic meter boxes require different materials due to different geography and climate

Whereas in hot or humid climate areas, high temperature resistant and waterproof materials need to be selected to protect the meter box from heat and moisture. Commonly used materials include heat-resistant polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polymer composites with waterproof properties.

In addition, the weather resistance of the material needs to be considered, that is, whether it can resist ultraviolet radiation and oxidation. In areas with sufficient sunlight, choose materials with better weather resistance, such as modified polyester (PET) or polypropylene (PP), to prolong the service life of the meter box.

Therefore, when choosing the material of the plastic meter box, it needs to be considered according to the specific geographical and climatic conditions to ensure that it can adapt to the local environmental requirements.
