1 Power purchase and input issues

Problem description: After the user inserts the power card into the meter, the meter buzzer does not sound long and the power is not input into the meter.

Possible reasons: The energy meter has not been issued or there is an error in the data handover between the purchase card and the energy meter.

Solution: Re insert the key modification card or reset the meter with a reset card to ensure correct handover of data between the power purchase card and the meter.

2 Electric meter display issue

Problem description: The energy meter does not display or displays garbled or error codes after being powered on.

Possible reasons: The energy meter is not powered on, the card is not inserted into the card slot, the card slot is damaged, the internal chip of the energy meter is faulty, the ESAM module and energy meter authentication are malfunctioning, etc.

Check if the incoming and outgoing wires of the live wire of the energy meter are connected correctly to ensure that the meter is powered on.

Insert the card correctly and ensure good contact between the card and the slot.

If there is a malfunction in the internal chip or ESAM module of the energy meter, it is necessary to contact the power company for repair or replacement of the meter.

For specific error codes (such as E-11, E-12, E-13, etc.), corresponding measures should be taken based on the meaning of the code, such as changing the meter, contacting the sub bureau's meter installation team for handling, etc.

3 Problems in the process of electricity consumption

Problem description: The energy meter experiences power outages, overload alarms, and other situations during the electricity consumption process.

Possible reasons: household loads exceeding the maximum load setting of the energy meter, wiring issues with the meter (such as short circuits between live wires and ground), insufficient remaining power, etc.

Check the household load. If it exceeds the maximum load setting of the energy meter, you need to apply for capacity increase or meter replacement at the business hall.

If the energy meter frequently experiences power outages without adding a load, it is necessary to check the wiring of the meter to see if there is a short circuit between the live wire and the ground.

4 Recharge and data recording issues

Problem description: Recharge failure, incorrect recharge amount, incorrect display of electricity consumption, loss of electricity usage records, etc.

Possible reasons: weak or faulty network signal, incorrect user account number, damaged recharge card, damaged meter sensor or chip, data transmission errors, internal memory failure of the meter, etc.

Check the network connection and signal strength to ensure that the account number is correct, and try replacing the recharge card.

Contact the power company to verify the recharge records and request correction of the amount on the energy meter.

Contact the power company to repair the energy meter or reset the electricity data, or request the restoration of electricity usage records or replacement of the energy meter.
